Franki is one of those people you just HAVE to admire! She's smart, she's funny, she's got great ideas, and she's an amazing teacher! Her book, The Joy of Planning, is a practical book for teachers that simplifies and clarifies how to effectively help your readers to engage more fully in texts. She's also co-authored Still Learning to Read: Teaching Students in Grades 3-6 and Day-to-Day Assessment in the Reading Workshop: Making Informed Instructional Decisions in Grades 3-6. We're so thankful to have Franki on board again this year for Day One! |
