If you're a Nerdy Book Clubber - even if you're new - you KNOW this person and at least some of the incredible contributions she has made to the world of reading. You probably know that without this person Nerdy Book Club wouldn't exist, let alone nErDCampMI (and others that are popping up)! Hopefully, you have also read at least one of her books (and if you're like me, it totally changed your teaching life) and had the opportunity to meet her, hear her speak, read her tweets, blog posts, and so on and so on.
Donalyn Miller has changed the lives of thousands of people. Through her practical strategies, advice, and encouragement, she has altered the way many classrooms (the teachers who run them) operate, and in doing so, has given kids the chance to LOVE reading. She has so much knowledge, delivers so many resources, and challenges thinking in a wonderful way. Plus that, she's just an all-around terrific person!
We are truly fortunate to have her with us (and she's bringing family, too!) once again at nErDCampMI. You'll be able to attend her Day One session if you choose, hear her in a NerdTalk that same day, and pick her brain during Day Two. By the time you are traveling home, you will be full of more information than you'll know what to do with! (Yeah, I know I ended with a preposition...)

Oh, and if you haven't read one of her books, it would be a great goal to set! And get it done before nErDCampMI, too! :)
